The Other F Word

Writer/Director/Producer Caytha Jentis

Cast includes: Steve Guttenberg (Police Academy) Judy Gold (Jim Gaffigan Show) Reiko Aylesworth (24) Michael Boatman (The Good Wife) & Ben Bailey (Cash Cab)

The Other F Word is a comedic coming-of-age series about four women friends who deal with the highs and lows of mid-life as they reinvent themselves now that their kids are grown.

#1 on Amazon

The Other F Word Season One is an Amazon Video top web series for the third month in a row.  It’s been viewed significantly every single day since its launch five months ago. The show has reached over half a million people domestically which is mind blowing. "We’ve defied the odds and I am overwhelmed by our success, I am grateful to all who have watched and help to spread the word", Caytha Jentis.

Fundraising

Caytha Jentis is raising funds to finance Season Two which will debut in September 2017. While she has proven there is large audience for this show, sadly, due to the show's primary demographic - women over 40 - she could not find a digital company to finance Season Two. We are reaching out for your support to keep these stories going. Your contributions will go directly towards the financing of production. PowHER Network has set a goal of $10, 000 - with hopes that we can raise more!

Grassroots

Caytha began a grass roots marketing campaign for The Other F Word over a year ago for Season One.  She had the support from top bloggers and influencers world-wide to spread the word about the show.  “Moms Night In” streaming parties took place in Palos Verdes, Boston, Syracuse, Orlando, Michigan and New York City.  In addition, NYWIFT screened Season One through its Anthology Series in late September as well as one in October in Los Angeles with Women Occupy Hollywood.

Season Two will continue to be supported through intense grass roots marketing and the power of women in their forties and fifties.

Season Two Goals

Caytha's goal for Season Two is to make the world bigger and better both on screen and behind the scenes by creating a larger vibrant community of women - who like herself - are midlife re-starters or are young women we can mentor.

Great new members have been added to the writing team including the talents of Emmy award winning TV writer Judy Rothman Rofé & the award winning playwriting team Pamela Weiler Grayson and Alice Jankell.  In addition Eileen Katz, a former SVP at Comedy Central/ MTV has come on board as an Executive Producer.
